Awards & Recognition

SIKAP’s existence has not been always easy. Like any other organization that operates in an uncertain environment, SIKAP has experienced ups and downs. But SIKAP continues to inch forward, convinced that it has made a positive difference in the Province of Agusan del Sur, in Caraga Region, and beyond.

One of the reasons why SIKAP embraces a positive outlook and is inspired to work are the several awards and recognition it has garnered so far. Having been acknowledged to have excelled in various fields, SIKAP is understandably empowered and made more vibrant. SIKAP then has the energy to treat every problem as a stepping stone instead of a stumbling block.

  • 20th National Gawad Kalasag Winner – CSO Category

    1st Place, Best Civil Society Organization on DRRM and Humanitarian Assistance 2018 and Hall of Fame Award. Awarded on December 4, 2018 at AFP Theater, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City

  • Regional Gawad Kalasag Winner - CSO Category

    1st Place, Best Civil Society Organization on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) and Humanitarian Assistance 2018. Awarded on August 3, 2018.
